The present example here has patination across the dial and inner bezel.
This effect has created a Ghost Dial whereby in certain lights the name of the brand can not be clearly seen. Luckily the text is fully there and the logo has not been lost entirely.
It is a Zenith Super Sub Sea A3635 from the late 1960s.
An automatic diver with a 40mm wide square cushion shaped stainless steel case.
Features an internal bidirectional rotating bezel which is operated by the top left crown.
Both crowns are Zenith branded. Date window between 4 and 5 o’clock.
Inside beats the automatic Zenith cal. 2542 PC movement. It has been thoroughly inspected by our watchmaker, is fully functioning and keeping good time.
