An attractive vintage chronograph with a touch of colour.
The present Zenith A386 is the MK2 variant which was only produced for a short period. It has a plain no logo caseback with the correct markings inside and lugs with line breakers on the front facet.
38mm wide stainless steel case. It is fitted with the period correct small Nato logo crown which is commonly seen on A386 MK2 as well as some A3817 and A3818.
To top off what is already a superbly pretty watch, it comes fitted on a full length Gay Freres ladder bracelet with the rare and correct "ZJ" endlinks.
The outer clasp is signed "Zenith" and the inside "GF" for Gay Freres. The bracelet is dated to the 4th quarter of 1971.
Inside beats the automatic Zenith El Primero cal. 3019 PHC movement. It has been thoroughly inspected by our watchmaker, is fully functioning and keeping good time.
