The Zenith calibre 135. What can we say? A very well regarded movement, arguably one of the best the world has ever known. It comes housed here in a 35mm steel case which shows no signs of being polished. A few small dints on the underside edges of the lugs, a good honest case.
The movement in the current example is an early one from the second series of calibre 135. It is a gold plated second series movement and can be considered a transitional reference. The first series were gold plated, the following second and third series were rhodium plated. So to come across a second series gold plated movement is quite the find.
