A very sharp and cool reference the Rolex Explorer II 16570.
The present example in excellent condition has a 39mm wide case with sharp facets and an attractive brushed bezel. The proportions lean more towards vintage Rolex than modern, which for us is a real sweet spot.
An above average condition neo-vintage timepiece that has been well looked after.
The clean Polar white dial has the "SWISS - T<25" designation at the bottom indicating Tritium Lume and that has turned to a cream tone.
Comes fitted on a period correct Rolex 78360 Oyster Bracelet and 501B endlinks with "PJ9" stamp. There is no major stretch to the bracelet and the clasp has a satisfying click feeling when closed.
Between the lugs we can see it has an "X" serial dating the watch to 1991.
Inside beats the Rolex cal. 3185 automatic movement.
