The Soleil dial is the star of the show here. And what an incredible beauty it is.
A rare and seldom seen dial the Soleil meaning Sun in French.
There is patina across the dial and most of the lume from the 2 o'clock indices is no longer present.
All script on the dial and the all important logo is clear and present.
The 39.5mm stainless steel case exhibits wear commensurate with its age.
The watch is a reference 105.003-65 Speedmaster with straight lugs. Also nicknamed the "Ed White" after the astronaut.
The Dot over 90 bezel has even wear and compliments the condition of the whole watch.
Comes fitted on a stainless steel Omega 7912 bracelet with clasp stamped "1/65" and with "6" endlinks.
The serial number on the movement dates this watch to 1966.
Inside beats the infamous Omega calibre 321 manual winding chronograph movement.
