Jaeger-LeCoultre Deep Sea Shark Vogue E2643 vintage stainless steel chronograph sports watch. It goes by the nicknames “Shark” which was used in the North American market and “Vogue” in Europe. This particular example from the late 1960s which is branded Jaeger-LeCoultre for the European market would be known as “Vogue”.
It has a handsome reverse panda chronograph dial. “T Swiss T” at the bottom of the dial indicates Tritium lume.
The bidirectional world timer bezel displays a number of world cities and 24 time zones.
As a vintage watch this is fairly large at 40mm and caters well towards modern tastes. The stainless steel case retains thick lugs with clear bevelled edges.
Inside beats the infamous manual winding Valjoux 72 movement.
